Good lighting design can enhance both the ambiance of a built environment as well the perceived quality of life. The new lighting master plan in Roermond on the German-Dutch border emphasises this historic urban space, whilst complementing the surrounding architecture. Specially developed for this specific project, the luminaires not only provide modern, efficient illumination of the town spaces but also serve as sculptural features, both day and night, adding further character.
