The chief objective in the reconstruction of the Angermuseum in Erfurt was to carefully combine the old and the new: the result is an exceptional centre of the arts. The simplicity of the architecture leaves the eye to concentrate fully on the exhibits. This philosophy is taken further forward with the use of simple arrangements of linear luminaires and circular ceiling lights. The overall lighting design provides flexible solutions for the varied demands on the building.
