The future landing traffic control system at the new Vienna International Airport is to be designed with spaciousness, functional clarity, order and optimal design quality in mind. An Ovalis exterior luminaire has been installed there which is specially designed for the airport's requirements. Its extra flat, moulded body is fitted with two 55W QLs with separate switching circuits, which ensure the luminant has a longer-than-average service life of around 60,000 hours.
