11th to 16th April 2010 will see the world’s largest exhibition of lighting once again taking place at light + building in Frankfurt am Main, with energy-efficient products, intelligent light management systems and innovative light settings for urban spaces and shop lighting on show – and much more besides. Since its inception in 2000, light + building has become the world’s leading trade fair for architecture and technology and enjoys a high reputation both within Germany and internationally.

At this year’s light + building, which takes place every two years, more than 2000 manufacturers from 50 different countries will be presenting their world firsts and latest trends. Semperlux will be at light + building too of course and we will be exhibiting our most recent innovations at stand B81 in Hall 3.1.

Semperlux supporting the Professional Lighting Design Convention (PLDC) 2009 in Berlin
From 28th to 31st October 2009, lighting designers and architects from around the world will be coming together in Berlin for the 2009 Professional Lighting Design Convention (PLDC). Having been held in London for the first time in 2007 with great success, this global conference on lighting design will be taking place in Berlin this year. Notable personalities from science and industry will be reporting about the new developments in the field of lighting and illumination. More than 1,000 guests are expected at the convention and, in the Pullmann Hotel Schweizerhof, they will have the chance to exchange views on more than 60 presentations and industry reports. The convention will also be under prominent patronage this year since the event will be supported by the governing mayor of Berlin.

Semperlux AG too will be acting as a gold sponsor for the convention. "As a company that was founded in Berlin and is still based there today, we are delighted to be able to welcome to the city so many top experts in the field of lighting," says Veit Müller, member of the Semperlux AG board, of the company’s commitment to the convention. By the partnership with PLDC 2009 and its guests, the specialist lighting engineering company from Berlin is hoping to present new product developments from its interior and exterior lighting ranges and form new contacts around the world.
